Damian Rogers

Author of Dear Leader and Paper Radio, nominated for the Pat Lowther Memorial Award

Damian Rogers  is the poetry editor of House of Anansi Press; the creative director of Poetry in Voice, a national recitation contest for Canadian high-school students; the poetry editor at   The Walrus  magazine; and literary curator for the performance series Jason Collett’s Basement Revue. Her first book of poems,   Paper Radio   (ECW Press, 2009), was nominated for the Pat Lowther Memorial Award. Coach House Books published her second book,   Dear Leader,   in  spring 2015. She lives in Toronto.

Jessica Bebenek

Transdisciplinary artist and knitter of poetry
Jessica Bebenek is a writer, transdisciplinary artist, and recent graduate of Concordia University's MA in English & Creative Writing. Her third poetry chapbook, Fourth Walk, was published by Desert Pets Press, Spring 2017. In Fall 2017, she performed “The Waste Land” at Toronto’s Nuit Blanche, knitting poetry for twelve hours straight. She will be releasing a chapbook of knitting patterns for poems, k2tog, through Berlin’s Broken Dimanche Press in Summer 2018. She is currently completing a full-length poetry collection, No One Knows Us Here, and a non-fiction collection, Writing for Men.
