Welcome to Tree Leaves Open-Mic

Every session at the Tree Reading Series begins with an Open-Mic segment that lasts about 30 minutes.  This is followed by a short intermission and the evening’s featured reader.  After another, shorter break those open-mic readers who remained on the list are given their turn.

Visitors to Tree often comment on the quality of the Open-Mic readings.  Tree readers are generally serious about their writing, and their commitment is reflected in the uniformly high calibre of their work.

At the option of each reader, the text and/or an audio recording of the reading will be posted as a supplement to the Tree Leaves online magazine.  A photo of the reader is included.
